Located in Bourges in the heart of France and 2 hours from Paris, this establishment associated with the Grand INSEP network presents a strategic location and services worthy of major international centers. https://www.creps-cvl.fr/ Released from the ground in 2003, the CREPS Centre Val de Loire is new and takes up the latest standards of construction and its uses in terms of respect for the environment as well as connectivity, thanks in particular to fiber optics. Open 360 days a year, it is a privileged place to prepare for the major European and global deadlines for many sports teams. The commitment of the establishment was thus rewarded with the award of the Silver Label Grand INSEP, a guarantee of quality and seriousness in the field of high performance. Equipped with high-quality sports facilities, specialized rooms and a capacity of nearly 240 athletes, the CREPS Centre - Val de Loire is a unique place to prepare for sporting performance. Located on more than 22 hectares five minutes from a historic city centre steeped in history, it brings together accommodation, catering, sports venues, medical accompaniment, weight rooms and recovery areas, indoor and outdoor conviviality spaces, training rooms and Amphitheatre. An urban bus terminal at the entrance to CREPS connects it directly to the station. Fully accessible to people with disabilities, the CREPS Centre Val de Loire has 37 rooms suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Special features

The spatial organization of the CREPS Centre Val de Loire makes it a concentrated structure that makes any place accessible within 8 minutes walk. Its 118 rooms of a two-star standard allow several possibilities for use for one, two or three people. They can accommodate up to 238 people. 18 rooms are also equipped with double beds. All beds measures 220 cm.

All sports equipment is high-tech and complemented by an efficient medical service. Combined with the modularity of its services, the adaptability of its teams and the complementarity of other local equipment (50m basin, nautical base), the CREPS Centre Val de Loire is an extraordinary sporting base camp to prepare for the biggest international competitions.

Known for

Since its opening, the CREPS Centre Val de Loire has been the permanent host of numerous valid and disabled sports courses. The most emblematic are certainly the preparations for the 2010 judo worlds, the Olympic preparations in gymnastics (2008), BMX (2016), the Paralympic preparations in para rowing (2014 and 2016) and para archery (2016). In 2013 the terminal course organised by UK Sport to prepare for the World Athletics Championships Handisport lyon remains on the minds.

The modularity of the CREPS Centre Val de Loire also allows it to contribute to the organization of many competitions such as the European U16M basketball championships in 2017, the world junior fencing championships in 2016, the Aviva men’s pro A basketball tournament or the French elite track cycling championship in 2021.
