Description

The city of Villiers-sur-Marne is close to Paris and easily reached by A4 highway. You can also get there on the RER E city trains and a few bus lines. It is fitted with Velib’ terminals (rental bikes), and in 2025 it will host a train station on the Grand Paris Express line. The Octave Lapize sports complex includes :

• the Yves Querlier gym
• the swimming pool
• a boulodrome (pitch ball game)
• the Robert Rolland archery range
• ESV tennis club : 4 indoor and 4 outdoor tennis courts
• the skate park
• a street workout area
• 2 rugby fields
• a 500 seat rugby grandstand
• 3 football pitches, including one in synthetic grass
• a 300 seat football grandstand
• a dojo.

Special features

The center offers a nice practice area in a recently refurbished facility. The site is easy to access and located at the heart of a dynamic neighborhood. 15 sports can be practiced on site, and there are other halls (a gym, a dance room, a workout room, a therapy center including balneotherapy), allowing athletes to physically prep and to practice many other complementary sports. The versatiltiy of the site is ideal for the preparation of high-level athletes. The site is accessible to people with disabilities, and a cardiac defibrillator is available on site.
