Description

Opened in 2011 the ‘Complexe Sportif Eric TABARLY’ is situated in the South of Antony, at the heart of the ‘Noyer Doré’ neighbourhood close to the station “Les Baconnets” of the RER line B, which serves the centre of Paris, la Gare du Nord, Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly airport via the Orlyval. The station is also less than 4 kilometres from the train station ‘Massy TGV’. The building is entirely accessible to people with reduced mobility, the complex on the ground floor has a hall with an overall space of 1.425 m² and offers a gallery of 500 spaces dedicated to fencing and table tennis. On the first floor, the centre has a dance hall and 2 halls for martial arts. The complex also has numerous changing rooms: for the sportsmen and women, for the managers and for the referees, a meeting room, a nursing station and an anti-doping control post, and training rooms. The center is situated a short distance away from the ‘Espace Lionel TERRAY’ which has a swimming pool of 25 meters, 2 hammams, 2 gymnasiums with wooden floor, a gallery and a weigh-lifting room. 5 changing rooms and 1 meeting room is also available on site.

Known for

The center has great experience in hosting national fencing competitions : ‘Championnat de France de Fleuret’ in June 2013, ‘Championnat de France cadet’ in May 2016 and every year since 2012 the ‘Open International d’Escrime d’Antony’.
