Description

A premium facility of international stature located in Pontoise, a 30-min. drive from Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport and Paris, with easy access by public transport: Cergy-Préfecture RER station and interurban bus network. The facility is made up of a sports complex and a stadium. The complex comprises a large 1,200-seater multi-sports hall, a second multi-sports hall, a weight training gym, a weightlifting gym, two ballrooms, a gymnastics hall and four squash courts. The stadium has a seated capacity of 800, a 2,000 m2 covered athletics hall, a running track, throwing areas (hammer, shot and discus), jumping areas (pole vault, high, long and triple jump), two artificial turf pitches (football and rugby) and a grass pitch for premium matches.. It also offers a full range of user facilities: changing rooms, offices, reception lounge for with a capacity of 200, two meeting rooms with interactive digital screens, storage rooms, a cold swimming area, two drug test rooms and two first aid rooms. The centre is fully approved to cater to disability, including athletes and non-athletes. The centre is home to CPBB, a basketball club competing in the national first league, and EACPA, an athletics club competing at the highest level in France. The Centre regularly hosts sports and socio-cultural events:

Sport. – A full season of CPBB basketball matches (up to 1,600 spectators) and EACPA meetings (up to 800 spectators).

Marquee events such as a world Boxing championship on October 8 2016 before 1,800 spectators, a national Futsal tournament in December 2019 before 1,400 spectators, Campus Day (annual student sports day with 1,000 participants), and Amiral League in July 2020 and 2021 starring LNB and NBA pro basketball players.

Sociocultural. – In August 2020 a talk by Pierre Rabhi, and a yearly Employment Forum (2,000 visitors).
