Description

This sports centre in Ivry-sur-Seine is just outside Paris. It has four large main sports facilities offering utmost conditions to set up international competitions. Various sporting events are taking place in the Centre, including from 1957 to 2017, the Marrane Challenge, a handball international tournament gathering up to 16 teams and national selections.

Preparatory courses for international competitions including the Olympic Games for various selections, including the French team.

Also since 2017 the city preccinct hosts the Vivicittà race, simultaneously happening in many cities all over the world,  advocating for humanistic peace and solidarity values. This race is a sequel event to the Humarathon which gathered up to 3500 runners for 30 years, including international level athletes.
