Athletics Football

Description

Located about 45 minutes from Geneva airport, in the heights of Evian, with an exceptional view of Lake Geneva, this site offers excellent conditions for practising sport thanks to its recently refurbished installations. The centre consists of three football pitches, an athletics complex and a gymnasium with a multisport hall.

In a very calm location next to the town’s accomodation. Free parking next to the site.
The athletic complex was completely rennovated in 2017, the football pitch was refurbished in 2016, the changing rooms are now accessible for all. Users will benefit from recently installed facilites, which are well maintained all on one safe and secure site.

Known for

For the European championship, Evian was in 2016 the “base camp” of the German football team (Maanshaft), the world champion. Each year, the pitch plays host to major teams such as Liverpool FC, Leicester, Olympique Lyonnais and RC Strasbourg.

The stadium is the home club of Thonon Evian Grand Genève Football Club (National 3 men and Division 2 women) and Football club Evian.

As far as athletics is concerned, the stadium is the training site for two local clubs, the Athletic Club Evian and Evian Off Course, which host a few successful young athletes. (participation in the French and European championships)
