Description

Located 17 km from the Grand Palais (Paris), the Colette Besson sports complex has a high-level weapons room with 12 connected tracks. There is also a specialized gymnastics room. Located in the heart of a residential area of the municipality of Gonesse (26,000 inhabitants), the sports complex has all the features to make it a suitable place for training and preparation for competition. Renovated in 2010, the sports complex has facilities allowing the reception of delegations: a privatisable space, independent changing rooms, a meeting room, a reception hall, grandstands for 300 people, all in a green and secure enclosure.

The City of Gonesse is a young and dynamic town, with a true sporting identity and has been certified Active and Sporty City. Beyond the sports complex, it has many additional sports facilities located nearby that can be used on request.

The City of Gonesse is located in Ile-de-France, 16 kilometers from Paris, close to the airports of Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Le Bourget (10 mn) and is close to a TGV station (CDG).

Gonesse is ideally located: close to major traffic infrastructure (A1, A104, N2, Boulevard intercommunal du Parisis, D317), it is well served by the public transport network.

The hotel infrastructure of the area is large and varied and a hospital with a regional vocation is located in the territory of the municipality.

The Salle d’Armes of the Colette Besson sports complex regularly hosts national and regional fencing competitions, as well as many federal formations.

Thanks to the capacity and versatility of the equipment, several other sporting events (judo tournament, karate competitions, gymnastics competitions) have already been organized.
