Description

A multi-disciplinary centre, located along the “Plaine du Var”, composed of several centres dedicated to sports performance, the “Cité des sports” has recent infrastructures that can meet the requirements of the high level and guarantee optimal training conditions. This centre includes the Charles Erhmann Sports Park, the Camille Muffat swimming pool, “the Halle des Sports” and the Arboras stadium.

Special features

The “Cité des Sports” has 21 hectares of high-quality facilities, renovated between 2016 and 2020. These facilities are suitable for the practice of 6 Olympic disciplines (tennis, athletics, handball, rugby, swimming and cycling). The site is located in the west of the city, in the heart of the Eco-Valley Park, not far from the Allianz Riviera stadium.
The “Cité des sports” is perfectly served by the public transport network.

Known for

The « Halle des Sports » is the development area of the «OGCNice Côte d’Azur handball » team, which plays in the first division of the French women’s chamionnat.
The Charles Ehrmann Sports Park is the training centre for the OGCNice football team, which plays in the first division of the French Football Championship.
This site is also the host site for major competitions such as the « Jeux de la Francophonie » in 2013 and the European Masters Games in 2015.
