The Guéret Olympic Games Preparation Center is integrated to the Chabrière Forest and has a direct access to Guéret's town center. This land of small mountains and valleys offers a natural and quiet area for the athletes to train in the best possible conditions. For the training and development of your athletes we have high standard equipment as well as specialized facilities for training and fitness. The athletes who will come to the Guéret Olympic Games Preparation Center will be totally focused on peak performance. On top of the standard equipment, the center offers gymnasiums, a weight room, a space to secure the material, as well as facilities for the athlete's care and recovery : cryotherapy, sauna, jacuzzi, massage rooms… Lodging and catering are made on a unique site so as to allow an optimal preparation with a wide range of possible benefits. Welcoming others, sharing, collective work are the assets of our area and they will be at the disposal of your performance so that no details will be overlooked, in keeping with the values of Olympism. The Guéret Olympic Games Preparation Center has many assets to welcome you : Appart’hotels, single bedrooms some of them adapted for people with reduced mobility.

These accommodations offer optimal (conditions of) residence and recovery with : a private catering space, training rooms, a weight room, massage rooms, health care areas (sauna, jacuzzi, cryotherapy). Every detail is sought out to an optimal recovery in the respect of the values of Olympism.

As for the machines, a secure storage space and reparation hall are at your disposal.

In the city of Guéret the athletes will have sports facilities : 3 sports rooms (CrossFit, fitness, weightlifting), trails, cycling tracks starting from the town center within a 45-minute range, 3 swimming pools including an Olympic-size one.

Known for

Since 1992, our home club, Creuse Oxygène, organised numerous national and international competitions in Guéret : French Cups, French Trophy of Young Racers, French Championship etc… Our mountain bike team Creuse Oxygène regularly attends the World Championships (in Germany, the USA, Australia…). The club usually prepares its season in the “Monts de Guéret” and train on the tracks endorsed by the French Cycling Federation. For 20 years our area has also been the home of the Nouvelle Aquitaine Promising Young Riders cycling team and it has provided young athletes with a double sport and studies project.
