Description

The «Centre Technique Régional » is tailor-made for multiple activities. In addition to Football, it is equipped for high-level badminton, basketball or handball training. 1^st surface: 5 football fields including 1 synthetic and 2 floodlit. 1 beach (sand) zone. 1 2,500m² gymnasium with a P3 (3-10mm) resin surface, 8 changing rooms, offices and multiple function rooms (meetings, training courses, video analysis) Laundry Balnéo Space (ice bath-spa-sauna) Athletic preparation equipment Physiotherapy room 4 meeting/reception rooms with interactive video whiteboards Indoor Tiered Seating: 200 places. External mobile seating available (up to 200 places per tier). Carpark: around fifty parking spaces. 2 dinning spaces with sporting menus (breakfast to dinner) plus a 1,180m2 marquee (available in season). Seats 300 per meal. 35,000 meals served each year. Private kitchen for site users. Sleeps 30 over 18 bedrooms. 2* Rooms with 1 double bed + 1 premium bathroom + TV-Internet. Outdoor swimming pool (10 X 5 meters). Site can be closed off to public. Security: The site is surrounded by a solid fence to allow restricted access. All external grounds are fully floodlit. The gymnasium is also equipped for futsal.

Unity of place is the center’s key strength with all its facilities gathered on a single site. Integrating sporting and nonsporting activities. Complete privatization is possible.

1 kinesitherapy/physiotherapy room for treatment + ice bath.

There are various solutions for linguistic support around Chateauroux : particularly English, German and Dutch.

Accommodation includes Premium rooms for VIPs.

A large wooded estate is included within the site of the Centre Technique Régional, allowing residents to hone their skills in a calm and relaxing environment.

Known for

Football: Various French “League 2” clubs train in the center.

National sides use the site, including Comoros, in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations.

It is also a pole for national youth football development (similar to

Clairefontaine).

Basketball: The center is used by national teams: Spain, Turkey, Czech Republic.

Field hockey and badminton: Various national and international level training and courses (particularly refereeing).

National and regional clubs use the center for training of varying lengths in divers sporting disciplines.
