Description

The specialized gymnasium of the Butte Verte (out of a total of 1200 m2 available for practice) has all the apparatus for men and women, a new floor, a net pit and all the equipment (to the standards and FiG approved) necessary for the preparation and training for international competitions such as the Olympic Games. Built in 2011, this site allows a team of gymnasts to train (isolated or in the presence of the public) in one of the largest gyms in Ile-de-France, envied by many clubs and which are renowned at the regional level. The geographical location of the city makes it possible to reach the French capital in 25 minutes. Indeed, the establishment is only 15 kilometers from Paris, Porte de Bercy, with direct access to the A4 motorway (400 meters from the Gymnasium), and half an hour from Roissy Charles De Gaulle airport. and Orly airport. The city is also served by 3 suburban train stations (RER), the closest of which, that of Noisy-Champs, is located 1200 meters from the venue. The bus network also helps to facilitate access to the equipment (a stop in front of the Gymnasium). The hotel offer in the town also makes it possible to accommodate one or more Olympic delegations without worry.

Special features

The complex can accommodate 414 people in its grandstand with a maximum capacity of the site of 1320 people. It also has ten changing rooms, a collective multisports hall, a dance hall, a climbing wall and a refreshment bar. The specialized Gymnasium room, attached to a wooded outdoor area, namely the Parc de la Butte Verte, also allows a green setting for athletes. It is also possible to enter vehicles in a secure courtyard allowing competitors direct access to the room and in complete safety.

Known for

• The men’s team of the local club (Noisy le Grand Gymnastique) plays at the highest level: TOP 12 and finished in 2nd place in the French Championship in 2021.

  This is one of the 4 training clubs in Ile de France GAM. Athletes like Frédéric JAY, Benoit CARANOBE or Paul DEGOUY for boys, Estelle COURIVAUD and Marion CARRE for girls have been trained in Noisy-le-Grand

• The club hosts a departmental center for men’s and women’s training. It has schedules arranged with the Clos Saint Vincent college allowing gymnasts to train twice a day and 26 hours a week.
• The club of Noisy le grand gymnastics feeds many hopeful and national poles. To date, 8 gymnasts train in these national structures.
