Description

Located in the heart of town, the table tennis training center is part of the Boulogne-Billancourt swimming pool sports complex. Many professional athletes use it, as well as teams from all continents, eager to prepare for international competitions. A weight room as well as recovery areas (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, swimming pool) are also accessible within this same equipment and may be made available to optimize the preparation and recovery of athletes. The proximity of this facility to Paris is an asset for the athletes, as they will be able to operate in the same geographical environment as that which they will frequent during the Olympic events. The nearest metro station (line 9) and bus stops (lines 42, 123, 126) are a 5-minute walk from the venue.

The room is entirely dedicated to the practice of table tennis.

The room is equipped with 14 ITTF-approved competition tables, high quality lighting (800 lux) and a FFTT-approved Taraflex floor suitable to the highest level practice.

The total surface of ​​the playing area is 600 m2.

Thanks to the room location in the basement and out of sight, the equipment will give delegations the opportunity to train without being bothered by sunlight or glare.

This training room is accessible to people with reduced mobility through an elevator.

This French Table Tennis Federation approved equipment has changing rooms and a club house.

In 2020, TT ACBB and the TT African Federation have joined forces through a partnership to contribute to the development of high-level table tennis at the echelon of the African continent, with Paris 2024 as a goal.
