Description
The Bottière-Chênaie Gymnasium is a functional and modern sports complex that opened in September 2012. This facility is fully accessible to sportsmen and disabled people, all the premises are located on the first floor. It is composed of a multi-sports hall of 44 m X 28 m, an artificial climbing structure and bleachers with a capacity of approximately 300 people. Its location, on the east side of Nantes, in the heart of a new district and a commercial center, provides parking for coaches and minibuses in the immediate vicinity of the entrances. Its spacious changing rooms, high-performance lighting, large conviviality room with large glass areas overlooking the multisports hall, shock-absorbing sports flooring in linoleum finish, make athletes, coaches and stewards feel comfortable in this equipment.
Known for
The Bottière-Chênaie Gymnasium was used as a training site during the Men’s World Handball Championship in January 2017 and the Women’s European Handball Championship in November/December 2018.
