Description

The Games Preparation Center Vallées and Plateau d'Ardenne, which is particularly well accessible, is located in the Grand Est Region, 2.5 hours from Paris by road or 1.5 hour by TGV (train station 15 minutes away). The airport of Charleroi (Belgium) is 1 hour and 20 minutes away, Amsterdam 340 km away and London 470 km away. Located in Bogny-sur-Meuse (Department of the Ardennes - 5200 inhabitants) the center is in a quiet, natural and green setting in the heart of the Ardennes Regional Natural Park. This center is composed of a modern Sports Hall including a Handball Playing Area of 40 meters x 20 meters, 4 players' changing rooms and 2 referees' changing rooms that can be arranged for the recovery of athletes (massage table, cold water bath ...). This structure also includes an infirmary, a large reception hall (possibility of installing a catering area) and a spacious club house (for possible meetings). Special features

The Games Preparation Center Vallées and Plateau d’Ardenne is part of a full-fledged sports complex located on the edge of the Voie Verte Trans-Ardennes along the Meuse river.

In addition to the Sports Hall, the Center includes a second building with other changing rooms, an equipped weight room, 3 soccer fields (2 grass and 1 synthetic), a 400 meter tartan athletics track with complete equipment at your disposal.

The reception of paralympic teams is also possible.

Catering can be done on site (hall or club house). Accommodation can be arranged nearby within a radius of 5 km (either in a hotel or in an individual or collective lodging).

Known for

The Games Preparation Center Vallées and Plateau d’Ardenne has already hosted international games (National Teams under-17 of France and Germany).

Tournaments bringing together high-level teams have also taken place there on several occasions (Teams of the Lidl Starligue: Dunkerque, Toulouse, Saint-Raphaël…).

In addition, preparation games with Belgian and Luxembourg teams are regularly organized in this Center at the beginning of the season.

Finally, this Games Preparation Center is the place of training and competition for the local handball team, Bogny Handball, which has been playing for several seasons in National 3.
