Description

The urban sports complex is located in Baillargues, a town in the department of Herault with 8,000 inhabitants. The area includes a park, a bowl, a street-plaza, and a pumptrack. This is an outdoor area. The complex is located next to the Multimodal Hub Exchange. It was inaugurated on July 2, 2022.

Special features

Attached to the FISE association, the “FISE Flat Academy” provides scooter and BMX Freestyle Park lessons with instructor Alex JUMELIN (quadruple world champion). It is the only BMX Flat school in the world. Since 2017, the Open BMX Flat powered by Fise has been organized in Baillargues, bringing together the best French riders.

Known for

In the municipality of Baillargues, the complex is next to the location of the largest urban sports festival in the world: the FISE (International Festival of Extreme Sports) of Montpellier. Indeed, and since 25 years (1997 first edition of the FISE), Montpellier is considered as the place of urban sports in France, and of their evolution. The event agency specialized in urban sports, Hurricane, founder and owner of FISE, has its headquarters in Baillargues.

As soon as the site opens druring the 2022 summer, a partnership with Hurricane will be set up, which will offer lessons and workshops in the four disciplines: BMX Freestyle, Roller, Skateboard and Scooter.
