Description

As an innovative and unique place, AquaMalo is ideally located and easily accessible, in the Saint-Malo Atlanta Parc at Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets. This new organization was inaugurated in 2020 and was built with in mind the idea of bringing sport and leisure together. It was also built to host all the local inhabitants, school children, clubs, athletes and passing tourists. Well blended in with the local environment, AquaMalo helps bring to the region of Brittany a new exciting experience, to embrace recreational and tonic moments and bring further wellbeing, every day of the year. The projet expands over a totAl surface area of 36,000m2 and 2000m2 of water, spread out over 6 pools:

• An Olympic pool of 50m2, with two movable pool fins and a mobile pool bottom
• A 200m2 activity pool
• A 350m2 play pool
• A 250m2 outdoor pool with 2 25m water lines
• 2 shallow pools (an indoor and an outdoor)

A wellness area and an outdoor play area are also at the swimmers’ disposal. Wellness: an outdoor and indoor wellness area is on offer as a supplement to the sport area (jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, relaxation rooms, ice fountain, thematic showers…) This modular space enables the facility to host multiple crowds at once. https://travaux.aquamalo.fr/

Special features

Versatility of the sport pool: depending on the training session, the pool can be adjusted from a 50m2 pool to two 25m2 pool thanks to the two movable pool fins.

As an adjustable and spacious pool, the athletes can freely practice whilst other pool users access the other pools with different entry and exit points.
Nine associations train daily in this equipment.AquaMalo is open 7 days a week with opening sometimes from 6.30am to 10pm.

New sports complex, AquaMalo is looking forward to hosting top level teams.

Open in 2020, and considering the current sanitary situation, AquaMalo has been able to mix quality performance and sanitary protocols. Indeed, the various user flows have been well established and allow a fluid circulation in the facility, all the while respecting the sanitary protocols.

What’s more, AquaMalo had the honor of welcoming the French minister of sport , Roxana MARACINEANU during the facility’s inauguration in July 2020.
