Located in a fenced and wooded area more than 4 hectares in size, this centre ACADEMOS is ideally situated 10 minutes from the Lorraine High Speed Train Station(la Gare Lorraine TGV), Metz-Lorraine Airport, and Downtown Metz. Its calm, outdoor setting and new, high level improvements will bring the athletes the best conditions for training.  The gymnasium (1170m2) features advanced, digital equipment as well as a newly installed, high quality sports floor. This centre also offers a multitude of related services to the athletes and support teams. This sports and youth complex, ACADEMOS, is the home to the Office of Departmental Committees (Maison des Comités Départementaux), the Office of Sport Health (Maison Sport Santé) and the Moselle Sport and Youth Services Office (les services de la Direction des Sports et de la Jeunesse du Département de la Moselle).  Contacts within the department with relevant sports expertise will therefore be on site. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaA8FViAI4g

An expertise with the organisation of the ATP 250 tennis tournament (Moselle Open) every year.

Proficiency in hosting large competitions : World Trampoline Championships in 2010, Men’s World Handball Championship in 2017, and Men’s Handball Final Four League Cup in 2018, Boccia Open.

A culture and knowledge of very high level sports.

A strongly engaged department alongside the parasports movement that is capable of mobilising a large network of partners.

ACADEMOS has also been chosen by the French Parasport Federation to organise the training camp for the French National Wheelchair Football team (World Championship) in preparation for the World Cup in October 2022.
