Located in the heart of the La Ponétie games area, the athletics stadium offers an area of 22,475 m². Users benefit from a 400 m runway and a grassed reception area for the throwing areas. An industrial building with a roof reminiscent of the design of a skate ramp, a "bowl" and a wooden "street" section, an outdoor street plaza: welcome to the Epicenter ! In the closed 600 m² building, a 450 m² skate park has been created, consisting of a "bowl" and a "street" section which allows riders to train.
The athletics stadium and Epicentre are located directly next to the aquatic center, offering the possibility of access to a balneotherapy area for physical recovery, a meeting room for debriefings and in which it is possible to eat with the delivery of meal trays.
Proximity to other facilities (aquatic center, event area, playground) provides a large and secure parking lot.
On Saturday, December 14, 2013, the Epicenter hosted the “Bowl On Fire”, an international skateboarding competition by invitation and initiated by the Free Session association. In 2015, with the partnership of the FFRS Skateboard Commission, the 3rd and final stage of the French Skateboard Championship took place on June 13 and 14 at the skatepark at the Epicenter.
