Moulins-les-Metz, a town in the Metz Metropolis, 10 minutes away from Metz town center, the flagship city of Moselle. It has a special charm “between city and nature” and is classified as a highly environmental town. South, 3 kilometers away, you will find many possibilities of accommodation and about 20 restaurants. Moreover, the exceptional site “Domaine de la Résidence” with its bistronomic restaurant and its 14 lodges will give you the opportunity of an extraordinarily comfortable accommodation in the middle of a forest of 6 hectares. It is particularly easy to reach the sports complex either by motorway, or Metz station, or Lorraine TGV station, or the regional airport, as well as the Luxemburg international airport, which situates Moulins-les-Metz quite close to 3 borders: Luxemburg, Belgium and Germany. The sports complex Louis Armand is mainly at the disposal of Moulins-les-Metz handisport association, created in 1998 in particular for top level table tennis players and is totally adapted for people with reduced mobility (PMR)

Cars, vans and coaches can easily be parked near the sports complex.

The site has been renovated a few years ago and now has Light Emitting Diode system for the inside lighting

15 professional table tennis tables are provided to the delegations as well as a team of 10 professionals attentive to the needs of Paralympic competitors, including translators in English, German and Spanish.

For the greater comfort of the delegations, the complex can be privatized and access to the site will be fully secured by a personalized electronic key system. This site is already fully secured by a video protection system directly connected to the Municipal and National police service.

Known for

In June 2011 and June 2019, the finals of the French disabled table tennis cup took place here.

Some well-known disabled table tennis players have trained in Moulins-les-Metz and have become great champions.

Stephane MOLLIENS was a team gold medalist at the RIO 2016 Olympics and a team silver medalist at the LONDON 2012 Paralympic Games

Ludovic MORAINVILLE has won 13 world titles in adapted table tennis.

Michel SCHALLER is a double silver medalist at the Paralympic Games in Athens 2004 and in SYDNEY 2000. He has won several world titles in table tennis.

Moulins-les-Metz is proud to have given future champions the possibility to train in its sports facilities.
