Colombes is a city  of 90,000 inhabitants located in north-west of Paris and whose identity is intimately linked to the Olympic Games. Included within a  developing district with new hotels, the new sports arena gymnasium will reflect the ambitions of the city, which has always put and given priorities to sport. Supported by a women's handball team playing at the national level, the complex will answer the demands to provide an adapted environment to the highest performance for Olympic and Paralympic indoor sports disciplines. In addition to a room classified by the federal authorities, the fitting will also benefit from additional equipment that can be converted and adapted to work  physical preparation and allow the staff to organise training sessions. Located in front of the stadium Yves du Manoir, which will be used to host the hockey trials during the Games, one hundred years after hosting the 1924 games, this future high sport place will be easily accessible from the main roads, highways and means of transport that will lead to the main Olympic sites, including the village of the athletes but also Paris and its many tourist attractions. Colombes has also a lot of facilities of various sizes (outdoor and indoor tennis courts, 44X22 gymnasiums, boxing hall, Dojo etc...) that can welcome a great variety of sports and activities.
