Description

Since its “Terre de Jeux” label in 2019, Ermont has wanted to unite its population around the Olympic and Paralympic Games and participate in welcoming delegations by providing them with quality infrastructures. The municipality is ready to welcome Olympic and Paralympic delegations. Its agents will be at their disposal and attentive to their needs. The Gaston Rébuffat sports infrastructure is located in the town of Ermont, 20 minutes from the Olympic Village of St-Ouen-sur-Seine. Our city of 31,600 inhabitants is very involved in the sports field. Indeed, we have 35 sports associations which are active on a daily basis. The François Baudin gymnasium, which hosts badminton training within the sports complex, has 7 badminton courts. The sports complex meets person with reduced mobility standards with adapted access, changing rooms and showers accessible to people with disabilities.

– The Gaston Rébuffat sports complex regularly hosts competitions and the local badminton club (EBC – Badminton) is one of the best training clubs in France:

– Every year: the club organizes national tournaments on municipal infrastructure

– In 2018, the club organized an elite tournament in the sports complex

– On November 6 and 7, 2022, a major regional youth tournament took which brought together 270 young people

– Two young people from the local club training at the Gaston Rébuffat complex are supported by the departmental council, including Emmy Cayol who is on the French ministerial list
