Description

In the heart of the town of Trélissac, the Firmin Daudou stadium is the central place of the sports and social life of the city. This high quality facility is home to Fédérale 1 rugby and N2 soccer on a superb grass surface. Surrounded by a 400m athletics track, the modern grandstand is designed to accommodate 800 seats in addition to all the locker rooms, toilets, showers, and a 150 m2 motor room. The real plus for the athletes is the direct access to a 30-hectare forest with marked and equipped paths, as well as to the hotel and restaurant business 100 meters away. Once on site, the delegations will have access to the infrastructures on foot and will be able to take advantage of an optimal preparation between nature, small village and quality of the sports installations in the heart of Périgord.

Special features

Undeniably, this center offers a perfect harmony for a preparation to sports performance. It is not totally isolated, but in a natural context between river and forest, close to a town center. All the facilities necessary for physical, recreational, administrative, logistical and psychological programming are available within 300m. The quality of the natural or synthetic turf playing fields as well as the specialized rooms for weight training, motor skills, relaxation and all the extra-sport facilities are available at the center. The atmospheric conditions here in New Aquitaine are adapted to the preparation sessions thanks to the temperate climate of the region. Finally, the Périgord region has a rich heritage of remarkable monuments to help you get away from it all.

Known for

The city of Trelissac has hosted several times stages of the Tour de France Cycling (stage city). Every week the sports center is used for high level amateur rugby and soccer competitions. A triathlon is also held in Trelissac every August. A European championship of women’s U19 soccer had plebiscited the sports infrastructures and annexes of Trelissac. The Biarritz Olympique Rugby, among others, wished to prepare a match on our sports facilities. The Trélissac team had several runs in the French Football Cup.
