Description
The Alice-Milliat Sports Complex, named after a pioneer in women's sports, is located in Ivry-sur-Seine, on the outskirts of Paris. The facility was opened in September 2021 and includes an expansive gymnasium that can be configured to suit sports requirements. All facilities are accessible to persons with limited mobility. The layout of the complex offers a quiet and focussed environment, ideal for sports teams to train for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Ivry-sur-Seine, a lively and sports-loving city, has two metro stations (line 7 on the Paris metro), four tram stations (line 9) and can also be reached via line C of the Paris RER (regional train network). The gymnasium can be configured to suit requirements: Goalball: the space can accommodate several goalball courts (9 x 18m), divided into six even sections. Boccia: the space can be divided into several courts (12.5 x 6m)
